Xmas used to be one of my fav hols, till this year. Not really sure why but this year's xmas seemed to be more hectic than the usual years. I used to always take it as a relaxing holiday and season, at least for me.

Hi all, i mean hi whoever's still reading this bloggy! Its indeed been some time since i last updated ehs? Guess when u spend like 6 days a week on an island on far east, you really don't feel like sitting here spending time cracking brain and BLOG. Oh wells, no idea why i am doing it now... still, i am doing it. Contradiction.

I really have no idea what this blog title should be and i really dont know what i am going to blog. This entry seem to have no purpose. On the other hand, i could have blogged about the many little things here and dere.... on second thought, thats really nothing much in them as well. Oh wells, this is just a crazy space for a bored old boyo here to rant rant rant.

Have you ever had the experience of using something or having someone around you like, always? Till the extend where you are so used to it that you don't realise that you are so dependent on it and stuff like that. I am sure you get what i am going at... Recently i really have this feeling and even at this moment.

Soon, the dilema sets in when the object or person is removed. You are afriad. Cause your alone, and maybe cause you are afraid of losing. However on the other hand, this is the start of independence in a sense. Then again, it might be independence in the wrong direction altogether... But you never know unless you try...

Ah, you get the drift? It's just a never-ending spiral. It goes round and round.... round round everywhere. Everything seem to be in circles and thats the root of all headaches! heh. Oh wells... Guess regardless, we will all learn to cope with, and live with what we have...

Choices are always painful. Turning back and moving on, they are quite similar yet different, aren't they?

But we all grow regardless.

Yes, the long awaited SYF07 is FINALLY over. It was a relief and all for the results oh wells, what's over is over.

Guess there sometimes it's really not always about the result. In this band thingy stuff, sometimes it's really about the music and usually it come to varied opinions, how do you really judge them sometimes.. oh wells.

Still, thankful to all that made it possible, made how we played that day possible, not really for the medal though. It's not our best, but, it's never our best. The Best is Yet To Be. *Grins*

Sorry for the long gone period. Busy with LOADS of stuff, really. Even till now, ACJC's concert is in 2 days time, lots of tickets to settle. LOTS ... LOTS.... TICKETS TICKETS, MONEY MONEY...

Terms was bad, really. Real bad. I have 2 Us thus far already and i failed 3 subs so far, only passing GP. Haven't got back bio. I am so totally done for..

Amist all, i went back down to tanglin on monday. Only then i realised the last time i went there was 1 and half years ago. So much remains and so much has changed. The people feels the same, the guitar dude who doesn't recognise me anymore but i remember him, he looks so like him... Don't make sense oh well..

Going back there make me realise so much. It's great playing there, had always been. Oh wells, then again i never seems to get jazz on a trombone, as in playing it. Never seemed to improve also =X heh. Oh wells, monday blues... literally? *grins*

Its been quite some time since i blogged. Nothing much i guess, just normal holiday life. Going around, doing eco solo like everyone else. Yes, some econs online tutorial kinda thing. Never thought that the next entry will be on new year's eve today. Guess this blog's kinda old too. going into 2nd year or something.

Now it looks kinda warm outside, still, looks like its gona rain due to some dark clouds here and there. No idea why, but my room seems rather bright. It would be cute if it rains later on tonight while tonnes of people are trying to count down to the new 2007. *grins*

Just had my band chalet too. Had an eventful year with the college band. Went many places, played in numerous occasions, halls and to many different people. Band life had always been so colourful and refreshing each year. Wonder when will this all stop. May be it's just weird but i guess everything comes to an end some how? O wells, anyways, yes, chalet was fun but ya, 2 sleepless nights are bad for martin.

Break Camp

Yes, my 4 long and tiring days of camp finally came to a wonderful end. In the midst of all, admin chaos, screams, got whack, whack people, threw flour, got thrown, tried to scare people, freak myself out. The list just go on and on i guess.

Yes, band camp was fun. I hope they had fun too. Had a couple of fruitful practices and guess everyone was happy about it. Wells, concert is tomorrow, people had sure been working real hard for this one, so i hope both nights will go real well. Just for everyone and everyone else.

Oh, there will still be tix sales at the door if anyone wana go. yeah.

Agree or not, i feel that everyone (especially guys) tend to grow up like their fathers in a way or another. Yes, maybe not directly and definately not exactly. But, there bound to be a time where one was young and all you know, always looking up to dad. Dad seemed to be THE guy.

One will talk like dad, act like dad, thinking of growing up like dad, even being better than dad. Father seemed to be the benchmark for many eh? Being able to surpass him seemed to be a silent achievement to many. Alright, maybe this is more for guy since i'm a guy, not too sure if girls think the same way or another.

One thing's for sure for ALL kids. As we grow older, parent's words don't seem to hold as much power as before. We grow up thinking we know more and well, maybe our friends out there seen more. Things that our once 'worshipped' dad says seem to be just one of the many reference point.

Well, at the end, when all guys turn into dad, then they realise how their dads used to look at them. Guess there's no way you can understand that till you really step into their shoes. For me too i don't really understand it sometimes, so it's kinda weird why am i even typing this. But thats just what i thought might be true.

Finally, Martin's back. Yes, been gone for quite some time didn't i. Life's been busy with many details and maybe itself too, wells, no time to rant here you see. I am sure you know what i mean. Everyone seems to be busy here and there and stuff like that.

I've finally done Mahler 1. Concert on Sunday. Wells, for me, it marked another milestone in my musical journey. It's just like, before playing Mahler and after playing Mahler. Wells, still remember back then when Mahler was just a super long piece that meant nothing and seem so tiring and never ending. Somehow now life seem more, practical. Not as fairytale-liked as before. Sighs, life without Mahler...

Ok, enough, what's over is over. Maybe theres more to come.... =X

I have a bad toe. They were jumping on Zhi Wen, then i guess i knock my toe and it bleed, abit so it's not really anything much. Then when i was at Zhenrong's hse, i kicked into some wooden thingy on the same toe... the nail chip abit and bleed even more...

Terms finally ended. Everyone's glad. Yes, including me ignoring the fact that i screwed up maths BIG time. Notice the big's in bold? how i wish i can make it as big as the statue of liberty.

Things happened. Wells, they always do, even during examination period! (omg, give me a break) Somehow i feel that i have went back in time. I feel like a sec. 3 boy once again, oh, maybe alittle more younger? I feel like as if i am going back to something, something i decided to leave behind some time back. I knew i would come back for it but i didn't expect things to turn out so fast. Then again, it might only be temporary? I know it's irritating to not understand what i am talking about. Then again a blog has always been a free-for-all-to-hunt-you-down-and-sue-you-when-you-type-the-wrong-stuff-i-bet-you-have-never-seen-a-longer- - -thingy-before-. heh-. ok-i-end-it-now-ok-cause-this-is-tiring.

Yes, i am finally back from the sydney trip with the band and with no doubt, everyone agreed it was great fun eh? *grins* many things happened during the trip i guess. Got to know more people, and better, realise things that i might have over-looked, understand more stuff and well, the list goes on.

No, no nice skies with stars there, nice clouds though. But don't seem to be anything special up there high in the sky.
